Application for Service Customers may apply for service at the District's office located in Newport between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. For your convenience, a Customer Service Representative will also be available at Box Canyon Dam between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Copies of our Service and Credit Policy and Application for Service are available for download. Electric Rates Electric Rates are based on the cost of providing electricity. New Water Service The PUD has nine water systems throughout Pend Oreille County. New service connection is arranged and provided by the District.
